Special ‘Snapshots’ Post: Skyline Drive (September)

This was my first trip to go see Virginia’s mountains. I went to Shenandoah National Park for this trip — there is a scenic roadway, the Skyline Drive. The road goes through the mountains and has overlook areas where people can pull over and sightsee. The road extends for about 100 miles, though for this trip, I only went about 40 or so.
